For those of us who cried when Hedwig or Dobby passed, Potter stories reminded us that even fictional deaths can fill us with raw emotion. This interactive presentation uses the Harry Potter Grief Model (Williams & Haley) to explore powerful lessons Rowling provided to help us deal with our grief. Key quotes and reactions will illustrate multiple dimensions of death and loss woven throughout the series, and what we can learn about different stages of acceptance.
